WB-DS Discharge Soft Base

WB-DS Discharge Soft Base is a water based ink base which when used in conjunction with water based pigments will produce exceptionally discharge prints on garments with a very soft hand. WB-DS can be used with high mesh counts and provide an extremely soft hand for designs.

Mixing 5-7% by weight of DISA- Discharge Agent into WB-1 and mix thoroughly to activate ink. Best results are achieved when printing on 100% white cotton fabrics. Pigment loading should be at 5-10% - must be tested until desired shade is reached (Warning: Too much pigment may result in wash out of color).
This product may be printed through a variety of screen meshes from 110 to 280monofilament polyester. Printing technique and environment is very important when printing through the higher mesh counts. It is often best to “flood coat” the screen after each print to help keep the ink from drying in the screen.

Variations in the ink deposit will affect the shade of the final print, so maintain a consistent squeegee angle and pressure.
This is a water-based product, so it is imperative that you use water-resistant emulsion.
