MC0450 Metallic Gold

MC0450 Metallic Gold is plastisol ink for producing a darker “Metallic” look when printed compared to the MC0040 Sparkle Gold.

RECOMMENDED USE
MC0450 is recommended for use on cotton and some cotton-polyester blend substrates. MC0450 is not a low bleed product. Pre-print and test all printed fabrics for possible dye migration and wash durability before beginning production.

MC0450 comes ready-to-use, but in some cases requires the use of a catalyst for better adhesion. This ink should be printed last on the substrate/garment.

Catalyst Ratios:

• By Volume: 16 parts Ink to 1 Part Catalyst
• By Weight: 20 parts Ink to 1 Part Catalyst

Ink must be used immediately after mixing of catalyst. Do not mix more ink and catalyst than needed for production. Pot life of mixed ink is 4 - 6 hours. The higher the catalyst percentage the shorter the pot life, while also affecting the final result of the design.
